SANTA CRUZ PUBLIC LIBRARIES: Computer Access Suspended

Announcement

Santa Cruz Public Libraries recently issued the following announcement.

Starting December 3, 2020, access to computers will no longer be available at library locations. This decision was made as a result of Governor Newsom's Regional Stay at Home order and guidance from public health officials.

Although the Bay Area Region has not yet been triggered into the stay-at-home order, the intent of the state's changes is to stop people from gathering, reduce mixing, and to lessen extended time spent indoors with people outside your household. Since computer access brings people from different households together for extended periods, we believe this is the safest course of action.

We continue to offer Grab & Go pickup, print job pickup, and outdoor WiFi.
