On Friday, Jan. 31, former San Lorenzo Valley High School standout Alyssa Struthers’ current college team, the Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles, won 5-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Central Washington Wildcats.

The game took place at Golden Eagles Field. This was their first matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 1:30 p.m. at OC Great Park against San Francisco State Gators.
