On Monday, Feb. 17, former Santa Cruz City High standout Brady Chavez’s current college team, the Sacramento State Hornets, won 19-11 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the San Francisco Dons.

The game took place at Benedetti Diamond. This was their fourth matchup against the Dons this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. at John Smith Field against Ball State Cardinals.
