On Saturday, March 22, former Santa Cruz City High standout Brady Chavez’s current college team, the Sacramento State Hornets, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UT Arlington Mavericks.

The game took place at John Smith Field. This was their second matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 1 p.m. at John Smith Field against UT Arlington Mavericks.
