Scotts Valley Unified School District’s schools enrolled 2,166 students in the 2022-23 school year, 0.6% less than the previous year, according to the California Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.6% of them were boys, and 48.2% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, making up 68.5% of the Scotts Valley Unified School District’s total enrollment.

However, overall enrollment in California public schools is sliding, and the Public Policy Institute of California expects it to drop another 8% by the 2031-32 school year.
