On Saturday, March 15, former Soquel High School standouts Ellie Escalante and Nevaeh Martinez’s current college team, the Cal State Monterey Bay Otters, lost 2-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the San Francisco State Gators.

The game took place at Otter Sports Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Gators this season.

The Otters’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 1 p.m. at CSUSM Softball Field against Cal State San Marcos Cougars.
