Of the 6,565 people living in South Monrovia Island CDP in 2020, 45.3 percent (2,972) were women and 54.7 percent (3,593) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Santa Cruz Standard.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 395. In the 65 and over age range, there were 456 females and 288 males.
