Santa Cruz City High School District's schools enrolled 4,383 students in the 2022-23 school year, 4.2% less than the previous year, according to the California Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.9% of them were boys, and 48.1% were girls.
